Silicon Sentier operates at the heart of the regional, national and international digital ecosystem. Its unique position enables it to identify and unite key players to focus on today’s most promising, cutting-edge industry themes. As an active driver within the sector exclusively and permanently focused on a clear mission, the association has built a solid base of relationships and keen understanding of the needs and characteristics of technical and professional communities. Our goal is to design and offer development solutions to innovators that are continually more pertinent, targeted and valuable.
Step-in-step with innovation leaders
Through its program of events and daily monitoring of the digital industry, Silicon Sentier identifies trends, sheds light on new phenomena and connects players around emerging themes in innovation. This close observation of the industry leads to the mobilization of a group of qualified enterprises around an identified theme, within a framework that enables each member to take a position on a given innovation and to gain in expertise and visibility.
This dynamic, coupled with Silicon Sentier’s expertise, leads to the emergence of leading-edge, themed-based communities able to understand and take into account the stakes at play technically, socially and from a technical and user standpoint.
Expanding Contacts
Once Silicon Sentier has identified a potential subject, it’s all hands on deck to bring it to light through the organization of an event involving the concerned specialists and experts. Subjects range from themes to technologies to specific priorities – or may be comprised of a combination of these elements. A few examples:

In 2009 Silicon Sentier organized 200 such events, with total public attendance approaching 10,000. More than mere events, these gatherings constitute the first step in structuring thematic communities, paving the way to the set-up of associations (Social Media Club France, Cleantuesday, OpenDay, etc.) and the initiation of collaborative R&D projects.

2- Accelerating project development
Silicon Sentier cultivates meeting formats that enhance production and development. An informal “consortium” of selected players (SMEs, large enterprises, associations, experts) is set up for each subject selected. These meetings, involving 8 to 10 individuals, are organized by Silicon Sentier, whose role is to moderate them in a spirit of neutrality.
